Guitar Lessons by
Adam Frost
My name is Adam Frost and I have been playing for 22 years and teaching for 16 years. I have had the privilege to perform and tour the US in acts that range from Folk, Indie, Modern Country, and Metal. That touring background eventually led me to teaching, where I really found my passion.
After seeing others succeed because of the help I had given them was incredibly empowering, and to this day, it still is and adds such a massive purpose to my life, as I truly feel that I am making a difference in the world by making a difference in my students’ lives.
Over 15,000 lessons taught. One student at a time.
Beginner to Advanced Lessons
Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or you've been playing for years, lessons are structured around where you actually are, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Beginner
You'll start with the fundamentals: chord shapes, strumming, picking technique, rhythm, and fretboard basics. The focus early on is building the right habits, because good fundamentals make everything come faster and easier.
Intermediate
At this stage, lessons open up. Barre chords, scales, lead guitar, improvisation, ear training, and music theory are all applied to real playing situations, not just exercises which is where things start to click.
Advanced
For serious players who want to go deeper. Phrasing, articulation, composition, fretboard mastery, speed and accuracy, all with a focus on developing your own voice on the instrument.
Your Goals. Your Music. Your Pace.
Every student has different needs, which is why we teach with patience and purpose.
Lesson Structure
Online and in-person availability.
Background & Goals
We start by talking about where you are on the guitar and where you want to go.
Your experience level, the music you love, and what you're hoping to get out of lessons. All of that shapes everything that comes after.
Build a Lesson Plan
From there, we put together a structured plan built around your specific goals.
Over time, you'll develop technical control, better timing and feel, and a real understanding of the music you're playing, not just the ability to repeat it.
Music Selection
Throughout that process, you'll bring music you actually want to play. Songs aren't just for fun here, they're chosen because they teach you something.
Chord vocabulary, rhythm, ear training, fretboard knowledge. The music is the method.
Consistent Practice
To make all of that stick, what happens between lessons matters just as much as the lesson itself.
I work with students who are committed to showing up on the guitar and in the room. Consistency is what turns lessons into real progress.

Custom Lesson Plans
Lesson plans are built around you. Your goals, your music taste, and your skill level on the guitar.
If you want to play blues, we work on blues. If you want to shred, we build the technique to get you there. The structure comes from experience. The direction comes from you.
